Semarang, June 3, 2024 – The Fisheries Product Technology Program, part of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences at Diponegoro University (UNDIP), has once again achieved a milestone by successfully organizing the Visiting Professor World Class University event titled “Marine Carotenoids and its Application.” The event was a resounding success, attracting academics, students, and industry professionals interested in advancements in marine biotechnology.
The program featured an expert in marine carotenoids, who discussed the vast potential of carotenoid compounds derived from marine resources for applications in various sectors, including food, health, and cosmetics. The topic was highly relevant to modern scientific developments seeking natural and environmentally friendly solutions.
This initiative aimed to broaden knowledge and foster international collaboration in research and the application of fisheries product technology. The Visiting Professor event is part of UNDIP’s efforts to achieve World Class University status by bringing international academics to the campus environment.
