Semarang, 15 November 2023 – A team of lecturers from the Fisheries Product Technology Study Program, led by Mr. Ir. Sumardianto PG.Dipl., M.Gz with team members, namely Mrs. Lukita Purnamayati S.TP., M.Sc, and Mr. Muhammad Hauzan Arifin, S.Pi., M.Sc. carrying out Community Service activities in Korowelanganyar, Cepiring District, Kendal Regency. This activity was carried out as a form of support for local businesses, namely Terasi Sedap Rasa.

In an effort to improve the quality and competitiveness of local products, the Fishery Products Technology lecturer team provides guidance and training to business owners of Terasi Sedap Rasa. Mr. Ir. Sumardianto PG.Dipl., M.Gz as team leader emphasized the importance of applying the latest technology in processing fishery products to increase added value and consumer appeal.

This community service also received serious attention from the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), which sent a team of assessors to monitor and evaluate the success of this program. This step is in line with the university’s commitment to making a real contribution to society and improving the quality of life through empowering the local economy.

With this activity, it is hoped that Terasi Sedap Rasa can implement the innovations and best practices presented by the Fishery Products Technology lecturer team, so that it can advance local businesses and support economic growth in the region.
