Semarang, August 29, 2024 – The Fisheries Product Technology (THP) Study Program at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Diponegoro University (FPIK UNDIP), proudly announced the enrollment of 105 new students for the 2024/2025 academic year. This number reflects the growing interest in a field of study focused on innovation and technological advancements in fisheries product processing.

Dr. Putut Har Riyadi, S.Pi, M.Si, the Head of the THP Study Program, stated that the increase in student admissions aligns with the program’s plan to develop a curriculum that is more responsive to industry needs and technological advancements in fisheries. “We are committed to producing graduates who are ready to compete both nationally and internationally, especially in addressing the increasingly complex challenges of the fisheries industry,” he said.

The new THP students will be guided by a team of academic advisors, including:

  • Prof. Ir. Tri Winarni Agustini, M.Sc, Ph.D
  • Ulfah Amalia, S.Pi, M.Si, Ph.D
  • Muhammad Hauzan Arifin, S.Pi., M.Si.
  • A. Suhaeli Fahmi, S.Pi, M.Sc

The incoming students will participate in an orientation program designed to introduce them to campus life and provide a deeper understanding of the vision, mission, and values upheld by the THP Study Program at FPIK UNDIP. Additionally, they will be equipped with foundational skills to support their academic journey. With the enrollment of 105 new students, the THP Study Program at FPIK UNDIP aims to continue contributing to the development of exceptional human resources capable of driving innovation in fisheries product processing. This, in turn, is expected to advance Indonesia’s fisheries industry.
