The Department of Fish Products Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Diponegoro University, provided training to 30 housewives in Timbulsloko Village, Sayung District, Demak Regency. This activity aims to accelerate the development of village potential after the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak in Central Java with the theme “Innovation for the Development of Processed Fish Products in Timbulsloko Village, Sayung District, Demak Regency”. This activity was carried out in collaboration with the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency (BAPPEDA) of Central Java Province, which was held at the Timbulsloko Village Hall, Sayung District, Demak Regency on 20-21 September 2022. This training activity involved lecturers and students of the Faculty of Fisheries. and Marine Science, Diponegoro University. The benefit of this activity is that housewives are expected to be able to diversify processed fish and shrimp products which are the main products in Timbulsloko Village to increase their income. The material provided is fish and shrimp handling technology, fish and shrimp processing technology into value-added products, and packaging and labeling of fishery products. To improve skills, the practice of making processed shrimp and fish products is carried out, including fish nuggets, dragon leg, shredded, and shrimp dent. The resource persons and training instructors from FPIK Undip involved were A. Suhaeli Fahmi, S.Pi., M.Sc, and Lukita Purnamayati, S.TP., M.Sc assisted by several assistant students for Diversification and Development of Fishery Products.
