Semarang, 26 September 2023 – An interesting educational visit was carried out by students of SMAN 3 Bekasi to the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK), Diponegoro University (UNDIP). This activity took place today, September 26 2023, from 08.00 to 11.00 WIB, at the FPIK Auditorium and was welcomed directly by the Dean of FPIK, namely Mrs. Prof. Ir. Tri Winarni Agustini, M.Sc, PhD. This visit aims to give students of SMAN 3 Bekasi a better understanding of the various study programs offered by FPIK UNDIP. One of the study programs in the spotlight is Fisheries Product Technology (THP). During this visit, students were introduced to various study programs at FPIK, including Fisheries Product Technology. They have the opportunity to obtain information about the curriculum, career opportunities, and the latest developments in the field of fisheries and marine science.
One of the peak moments of the visit was when the students of SMAN 3 Bekasi were invited to visit the Functional Food Laboratory accompanied by the Head of the Fishery Products Technology Department, Mr. Dr. Putut. Har Riyadi, S, Pi, M.Si. In this laboratory, they can see firsthand the various tools and equipment used in developing functional food products. This provides practical insight into what students learn and do in the field of Fisheries Product Technology at FPIK UNDIP. It is hoped that this educational visit will inspire students to explore potential careers in the field of fisheries and marine science, as well as provide valuable information in selecting a study program that suits their interests and goals for the future.
