Semarang, 22 November 2023 – Fisheries Products Technology (THP) held a Teaching Practitioner activity with the theme “Copeland Control Product Technology in Cold Chain Solutions.” This event was attended by Saptura Widjayanto, Regional Business Development & Sales Manager of Copeland Control (Digital & Connected Technologies), who provided in-depth insight into the latest technology in the cold distribution chain.
This meeting took place in Building G202, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) and was attended by a number of THP lecturers and THP students Batch 22. Saptura Widjayanto shared his knowledge about the application of Copeland Control Product technology in cold chain distribution solutions, underlining its important role in maintaining the quality of fishery products from production to consumers.
Apart from informative presentations, this event also provides an opportunity for participants to have direct dialogue with practitioners who have extensive experience in the industry. This is THP’s effort to connect students with the industrial world, open up job opportunities, and broaden their horizons about the latest innovations in the field of fisheries product technology. It is hoped that this Teaching Practitioner event can be a concrete step in improving the quality of education and skills of THP students to face future challenges in the fishing industry which continues to grow.
