THP, SEMARANG – One of the community service teams from the Department of Fishery Products Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Diponegoro University (FPIK UNDIP) has carried out part of a series of activities, namely counseling on processing methods and entrepreneurship and marketing of fishery products on April 10, 2021 at the shelter kiosk in Sabrang Village, Delanggu District, Klaten Regency.
In the training material, the processing of various products made from catfish is practiced by making shredded catfish, catfish skin chips, liquid smoked catfish, catfish sumpia, catfish mini pastels, and catfish nugget. The training was attended by 30 participants consisting of village officials, village PKK movers, and groups of women of productive age. The training activity was also attended by the Head of Sabrang Village, representatives of the PKK movers in Delanggu District, and representatives of the Fisheries Extension Officer of Klaten Regency. This community service team is chaired by Retno Ayu Kurniasih, S.Pi., M.Sc with team members consisting of Prof. Ir. Tri Winarni Agustini, M.Sc., Ph.D, A. Suhaeli Fahmi, S.Pi., M.Sc, Apri Dwi Anggo, S.Pi., M.Sc, and Eko Susanto, S.Pi., M .Sc., Ph.D. This activity also involved 4 students of the Fishery Products Technology Study Program as a means of learning and interacting with the community.
